Bull/Bear Ratio

Definition

The ratio of bulls, or investors in long positions wagering on a rising market, to bears, or investors in short positions wagering on a declining market. The ratio is published weekly by Investor's Intelligence with information gathered from investment advisers across the market, and is indicative of broad-based market sentiment.

Bull/Bear Ratio = Bullish Investors / Bearish Investors
