noon rate

The Bank of Canada uses noon rate to refer to the foreign exchange rate that exists between the United States dollar and the Canadian dollar. The noon rate is also used by some companies in order to help translate financial statements. It is felt by some that this rate is a more accurate measure of currency translation.
