PreTSL (Preferred Term Securities, Ltd.)

Definition

A proprietary collateralized debt obligation consisting of a bundle of diversified debt securities including preferred trust securities and senior debentures that provide protection against debtor defaults. Offered as marketable securities through the investment firm of Keefe, Bruyette and Woods.
