Definition

Arrangement between two parties to exchange the interest rate on a debt obligation which involves one party swapping a fixed rate for the floating rate, and the other party swaps the floating rate in exchange for a fixed interest rate. The floating rate involved in a Bond Market Association Swap is based on the bond market swap index.
