Definition
A phrase used to describe the idea that buy-and-hold is a losing strategy which was created by Jim Cramer. Cramer promoted investors doing their 'homework' by spending at least an hour each week doing research on stocks included in a portfolio by reading news stories, financial statements, or following along on conference calls to find out what analysts are looking for in stocks.
