Definition

Income Tax Return for Single and Joint Filers With No Dependents. This form is used as an alternative to the regular IRS Form 1040 income tax form. It offers a faster and easier way for individual taxpayers to file their taxes. To be eligible to use this form, a taxpayer must have a taxable income of less than $100,000, interest income of no more than $1,500. They must also have no dependents.
