Consolidated Tape Plan (CTP)

Definition

A body of policies and procedures that govern the collection and dissemination of trading data. The CTP is developed and overseen by the Consolidated Trade Association and filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). Member exchanges administer the plan.
