Definition

The audited annual financial report that publicly traded companies are required to file with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) within 90 days of the close of the company's fiscal year. The 10K is the most comprehensive of the SEC-required filings and includes detailed information about the company's financial performance for the previous year.
