Definition
A mutual fund that invests in securities with a market capitalization usually of less than $300 million. Micro-cap stocks are typically low-priced, thinly traded stocks. Compare to Large-Cap Fund; Mega-Cap Fund; Mid-Cap Fund; Small-Cap Fund.
