fleas and ticks

A short term technical indicator describing the difference between the number of stocks whose last sale occurred on an uptick and the number of stocks whose last sale occurred on a downtick. Also described as the minimum movement of which a security, option, or index price changes. With stocks, for example, a tick can be as little as one cent.
