Series 39

Definition

Also known as the direct participation program (DPP) limited registered principal qualification exam, the Series 39 exam is administered by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Individuals who are able to answer 70% of the 95 questions correctly are entitled to become principals at brokerages and dealerships that market DPP's.
