Vancouver stock exchange (VAN)
Definition
A stock exchange that was located in Vancouver, British Columbia, in Canada until 1999, when it merged with the Canadian Venture Exchange. The Vancouver Stock Exchange primarily traded exploration companies and small cap stocks, listing 2,300 companies at the height of participation.
