viator
Definition
A dying or terminally ill person who sells his / her life insurance policy. In this situation, the person sells the policy at a greatly discounted rate to its cash value. This is helpful to the buyer, because he or she gets a much larger sum when the viator dies, which can help pay for his / her medical expenses and other related costs.
