Bolsa de Valores de Rio de Janeiro (BVRJ)
Definition
The now defunct stock exchange in Rio de Janeiro. Before it was sold to the Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange (BM&F), it was the second largest exchange in Brazil. Investors could trade such things as government bonds and currencies using an electronic system called Sisbex.
