convertible price

Definition

The dollar value per share of common stock, as defined by agreement, at which the holder of a bond or preferred stock that can be exchanged for common stock may exchange for common stock shares. This price is determined when the security is issued. The number of common shares exchanged for the security is determined by dividing the security's face value by the convertible price.
