National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC)

An organization that provides support through laws and other regulations meant to protect and benefit those who purchase insurance. Many of the officers in this organization are also state and national elected officials as well, and they serve to create competitive markets for insurance consumers and the institutions they buy from.
