Definition
A certification awarded by the Insurance Institute of America to individuals who have successfully completed a program in the science of risk management. The ARM program focuses on three main topics: risk assessment, risk control, and risk financing. This certification confirms that the holder is qualified to make risk management decisions based on an organization's exposure to accidental and business losses.
