China-Africa Development Fund (CAD Fund)

A Chinese fund, established in 2007, that primarily invests in the economic development of Africa. The fund focuses on such market sectors as agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, and natural resources. The fund's goal is to attain $5 billion in assets under management. The primary investor is the China Development Bank.
