Definition

The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) manages and enforces securities law in the province of Ontario, Canada. The Commission's mandate is set by statute "To provide protection to investors from unfair, improper or fraudulent practices and to foster fair and efficient capital markets and confidence in capital markets."
