Homeowner Warranty Program (HOW)


An insurance policy available to new homeowners that covers significant defects relating to construction for a ten year period, even if the original construction company no longer exists. Homeowner Warranty Programs are offered by the National Association of Homebuilders, and in some states are required to be made available to new home purchasers.
