Khazanah Nasional

The investment holding arm of the Government of Malaysia that is responsible for trading, holding and managing the Malaysian government's commercial assets and strategic investments as well as promoting economic growth in Malaysia. It was incorporated in 1965 and again in 1993 as a public limited company. The Malaysian Ministry of Finance is the only shareholder, and as of January 2011 possesses over $37 billion in assets. Also called Kazanah Nasional Berhad.
