A market-capitalization weighted index that is widely followed by investors as it allows them (investors) to monitor the most innovative companies in the world with a huge growth from across a wide range of sectors, with the most stock from Technology. It is managed by NASDAQ OMX Group, which is a diverse exchange company that contains 100 largest securities/company listed on the NASDAQ OMX exchanges in the U.S., Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
