NASDAQ-100 Equal Weighted Index

A version of NASDAQ-100 Index that is calculated with the equal-weighting method rather than the commonly used method of weighting index fund, market-capitalization weighting method. It consists of 100 non-financial companies in the United States listed on the NASDAQ stock market. While this index contains the same securities as the NASDAQ-100 index, each security is set at 1% weight, which allows equal contributions from both smaller and larger companies in the index.
