National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC)
Definition
A body that regulates estate planning by setting standards to promote excellence in professionals that practices in this sector. Membership is acquired upon meeting stringent admission requirements such as a career in estate planning, accountancy, financial consultancy and planning and law. NAEPC awards two titles- the accredited estate planner (AEP) and the estate planning law specialist (EPLS). It expects its code of ethics to always be upheld by its members.
