Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC)
Definition
The Canadian authority of dealers, providers, investment brokers, and debt equity markets. Similar to the American Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the IIROC is self-regulating and works to regulate securities commerce and preserve fair markets.
