Definition

A measurement used by the Social Security Administration to determine the amount of paid work a disabled individual is able to perform. Individual with disabilities receive Social Security Disability benefits. The amount of these benefits depends on the SFA an individual can perform. SFA is determined by the nature and severity of a disability.
