Forbes 500
An listing by Forbes magazine of the top 500 public companies in the U.S. ranked by sales, assets, earnings, and capitalization. The list was published annually until 2003, at which point it was replaced by the Forbes Global 2000, which includes both U.S. and non-U.S. companies, and uses generally the same ranking formula.
