EUREX
Definition
A futures and options exchange that specializes in derivatives of European stocks, bonds and indexes. EUREX is an electronic platform, and reports volume of over 1 billion contracts each year. It was created by a merger between DTB (Deutsche Terminborse), a German derivatives exchange, and SOFFEX, a Swiss options and futures exchange, in 1998.
