revenue per available room

Definition

RevPAR. A hotel industry ratio comparing the revenue generated by room rents to the total amount of rooms that are available for rent. This is figure is reviewed for a specific date range. It can also be calculated by multiplying the average daily room rate by the hotel's occupancy rate.
