on a clean up
Definition
Stock trading tactic in which a large trader (usually an institutional investor) buys or sells so much of a stock that it causes the market to move to another level, and creates a pressure on all other trades that could last days. When this move (clean up) is over, the market recovers its balance and may move in the opposite direction.
