American publishing and financial information firm. Established in 1882 by Charles Dow, Edward Jones and Charles Bergstresser, the company is currently a subsidiary of the News Corporation. Previously, it was owned by the Bancroft Family for about 105 years. They are also known for issuing the Wall Street Journal.
