Euronext Lisbon

A stock exchange based in Lisbon, Portugal where equities, bonds, ETFs, investment trust units, and warrants can be traded. This exchange was founded in January 1769. It used to be known as the Lisbon Stock Exchange but it has since been restructured to include the Porto Derivatives Exchange, becoming known as the Bolsa De Valores De Lisboa E Porto (BVLP), the Portuguese Exchange. In 2002, it became the Euronext Lisbon when the Euronext NV acquired shares of BVLP and later merged. The BVL serves as the official index of this exchange.
