good money
Federal funds, transferred over the Federal Reserves' Fed Wire, cleared for use on the same day they are issued. This allows them to be immediately available for lending by the receiving financial institution. Clearinghouse funds, by contrast, may require three days to clear as they are passed to and from various banking institutions.
