Definition
An energy futures and options exchange. Based in London, it is the leading marketplace associated with energy contracts. Its flagship investment is the Brent Crude oil futures contract, which influences pricing of other traded oil products internationally. The IPE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).
