International Securities Exchange (ISE)
Definition
An exchange where equity options are traded electronically. The exchange began trading forex (FX) options in 2007. It is one of the world's largest options marketplaces. Founded in 2000, it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eurex but is based out of New York City. It is funded by broker-dealers.
