Market Performance Committee (MPC)


Definition
A group of specialists employed by the New York Stock Exchange to monitor specialists' efficiency to ensure that the actions being taken are fair and contribute to an orderly market. The committee is also responsible for the evaluation of specialists should any red flags arise. If necessary, the committee may reassign specialists based on performance.
