Definition
Stock exchange based out of Wellington, New Zealand that operates on an automated computerized trading system, which it implemented in 1991. NZX was created after the merger of several separate exchanges in 1974. The exchange is made up of a diverse portfolio of companies that are required to meet certain regulations in order to be included on the exchange.
