Velda Sue

Definition

Short for Venture Enhancement and Loan Development Administration for Smaller Undercapitalized Enterprises. Velda Sue is a federal agency that takes part in purchasing bundles of small business loans from banks and then regrouping them into securities. These securities are later purchased by institutional investors.
