Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE)

Definition

Primary stock exchange for Poland. The exchange has provided a marketplace for securities since 1991 and has grown to be one of the largest stock exchanges in Eastern Europe. The exchange was founded by the State Treasury, which currently owns a majority stake in the exchange.
