Measureable variable that helps investors with determining what direction major indices will move. A market indicator provides of snapshot of how things appear when the measurement was actual taken. Investors may look for areas of concern or improvement when examining market indicators to determine what trades they will make. Market indicators also have the ability to drastically change the direction of a trading session depending on the results.
