national debt clock

Abnormally large clock posted in Manhattan, New York that monitors the gross national debt in the United States. The original concept of the clock was created by Seymour Durst and installed in 1989. The clock has been updated a number of times to account for the growing amount of debt in the United States. The clock also provides an estimate of each American's share of the debt.
