New York Board of Trade (NYBOT)

Definition

Commodities future exchange that trades pulp, sugar, coffee, cocoa, cotton, ethanol, and orange juice. The exchanged is located in New York City and was founded in 1870 after the New York Cotton Exchange (NYCE) and the Coffee, Sugar & Cocoa Exchange (CSC) merged. In 2007, NYBOT agreed to become a part of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and late change its name to ICE Future US.
