10
how did u get that answer???
how????
5
15 days (divided by) 9 employees = 1.667 days of work per employee
3 additional employees (multiplied by) 1.667 days = 5.00 days of additional work
15 days (minus) 5.0 less days with 3 new employees = 10 days
Note: To be more specific you should convert the work day and employees to ‘hours’. This is helpful when you have some part time employees.
What on earth are you calculating? It would make more sense to me if you multiplied the number of workers times the days required to the job. Then you have the days it would require one to finish the job with one person. Then you can divide it with the new number of workers, that is 12.
so (9 * 15) / 12 = 11.25
here work force is increase by 1/4 hence time taken will be reduced by 1/4 , hence as per inverse calculation time (days) will be reduced by the same proportion.i.e. 15*3/4 = 11.25
it is simple answer = 20 9 worker takes 15 days then fist take the days for one worker it would be 15/9= 1.667 then multiply by 3 worker answer is 5 this means 3 additional worker would take 5 days Altogether it would become 20 (15+5)
i r right, the equation for the answer is :
9 15 12 x
so x is equal to 20
x=20
