6 Questions to Ask Before Picking Stocks

A few of the questions you should ask yourself before buying a stock include: Do you understand the company's business? Is it run by management that you trust? Do you have some idea about the company will be in five years relative to the competition? Can the company protect its position against new competitors? Is the price substantially less than the intrinsic value? How much downside is there and how likely is it?
