Every Investor May Not “Get It” Why Secular Trends May Hurt Some Companies and Benefit Others?

Educating the Masses and Not Just the Elite

Educational systems are generally geared to educate the elite, not the masses. But the industrial economies of the past, where you just needed a few highly educated people while the vast majority of people were working on production lines or delivering stuff, are being turned on their heads. Now nearly the entire population needs training and education that goes past age 18. So there’s no question the sheer number of students is going to increase dramatically, and somebody has to house them. Even if you’re just average, you’ll be getting students through your doors. If you’re very good, and eventually people recognize that, that’s only going to make the demand for your educational services that much better.
