The Problem with Value Managers Acting Alone

Value managers on their own can too easily make big, dumb mistakes. Because you’re stubborn, you’re apt to overlook the warning bell that should be ringing as something is going down – if you loved it at $10, isn’t it that much more attractive at $5 or at $2? Having a partner to ring that warning bell adds a lot of value.
