Discount brokers offer many services to an investor. Just because they are a discount broker doesn't mean they don't offer the services that full-service brokers do. Be sure to look at what a discount broker can provide to you before you decide to go with a full-service broker. Oftentimes, you, the investor, will find that your needs can be met with a discount broker just as much as if you went with a full-service broker.
