How a Weak US Dollar Can be Good

When the U.S. dollar is weak, overseas investors are one of the few groups that benefit. For example, as the euro goes up against the dollar, an American trader selling shares in Milan that also have risen will gain not only from the share-price appreciation, but also by getting back more dollars in the exchange from euros.
