One Warning Regarding Complex Financial Statements

Financial statements are not intrinsically hard to understand. If a financial statement is hard to understand, it's probably because the company wants it to be hard to understand, because there is a disconnect between the numbers it's reporting and the actual condition of the business. If the numbers don't make sense, don't invest.
